The good old GeoCities, the personal-website portal that was very populair in de 90′s. Yahoo paid $3.57 billion in 1999 for GeoCities. On April 23, 2009, Yahoo! announced that it would be closing. Artist Richard Vijgen has used that data to create an interactive tribute called Deleted City.

Beelitz explore

Last sunday i took the train to Beerlitz and visit a old large hospital complex, neurological rehabilitation center and a center for research and care for victims of Parkinsons disease. This large complex was owned by the Rusians after WWII. I shot those pictures in Pavilion B II, the largest building. Here are some pictures i took.
